# Plotten vs Morbbid

The clearest difference is update cadence: Plotten at every 4 days against Morbbid's fortnightly. Morbbid's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Plotten sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Morbbid sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Plotten ships an update every 4 days, Morbbid fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
