# Forum Live vs Cyphlens

Forum Live and Cyphlens both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Cyphlens's written reviews are positive against 75% of Forum Live's. Cyphlens also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). Forum Live's advantage is ratings volume (121 vs 14). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cyphlens holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forum Live has 121 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Forum Live's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cyphlens's.

Forum Live ships an update fortnightly, Cyphlens monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
