# Forum Live vs Validus

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Forum Live at 121 against Validus's 5. Validus's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Validus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forum Live has 121 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
