# Porongos vs CAPP

The clearest difference is update cadence: CAPP at every 3 weeks against Porongos's every 2 months. CAPP also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Porongos ships an update every 2 months, CAPP every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
