# FileLu vs RSS Go

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RSS Go at none against FileLu's 20. RSS Go also leads on ads (none vs shown). FileLu's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FileLu sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. RSS Go asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for FileLu against 5.0 for RSS Go. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FileLu has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FileLu ships an update every 11 days, RSS Go every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
