# Leonardo.Ai vs Gencraft AI Image Generator

The clearest difference is rating: Leonardo.Ai at 4.8 against Gencraft AI Image Generator's 4.4. Leonardo.Ai also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and chart position (#25 vs unranked). Gencraft AI Image Generator's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 55%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Leonardo.Ai sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month and Gencraft AI Image Generator sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Leonardo.Ai holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Leonardo.Ai has 11K ratings behind it against 2.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Leonardo.Ai's written reviews are positive against 71% of Gencraft AI Image Generator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Leonardo.Ai ships an update every 5 days, Gencraft AI Image Generator every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
