# Tools7 vs Farsight

The clearest difference is update cadence: Farsight at every 10 days against Tools7's every 6 weeks. Tools7's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tools7 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Farsight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tools7 ships an update every 6 weeks, Farsight every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
