# iTranscreen vs Answerix

The clearest difference is rating: Answerix at 5.0 against iTranscreen's 4.4. iTranscreen's advantage is ratings volume (249 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTranscreen sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Answerix sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Answerix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iTranscreen has 249 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iTranscreen ships an update fortnightly, Answerix every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
