# SmartScanner vs Gratuity

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: SmartScanner at 15.0 against Gratuity's 17.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartScanner sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Gratuity sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
