# EdrawMax vs Skywork

The clearest difference is rating: Skywork at 4.3 against EdrawMax's 3.4. Skywork also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). EdrawMax's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EdrawMax sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Skywork sells 29 in-app purchases, starting at $16.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skywork holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 33 and 60 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of EdrawMax's written reviews are positive against 31% of Skywork's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EdrawMax ships an update every 6 weeks, Skywork every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
