# Sketch Pro vs DrawInk

The clearest difference is ads: DrawInk at none against Sketch Pro's shown. DrawInk also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). Sketch Pro's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sketch Pro sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and DrawInk sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DrawInk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sketch Pro has 12K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sketch Pro ships an update every 2 weeks, DrawInk every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
