# SmartTeach vs AP

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AP at 100% against SmartTeach's 24%. AP also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). SmartTeach's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartTeach has 1.2K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of SmartTeach's written reviews are positive against 100% of AP's.

SmartTeach ships an update monthly, AP every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
