# SmartTeach vs CD Now

The clearest difference is update cadence: CD Now at every 10 days against SmartTeach's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SmartTeach ships an update monthly, CD Now every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
