# PDF Factory Plus vs UltraNotes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UltraNotes at 82% against PDF Factory Plus's 25%. UltraNotes also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 26 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Factory Plus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and UltraNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
