# PDF Factory Plus vs UltraNotes

PDF Factory Plus and UltraNotes both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of UltraNotes's written reviews are positive against 25% of PDF Factory Plus's. UltraNotes also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 26 months) and ratings volume (171 vs 10). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Factory Plus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and UltraNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
