# Yella Studio vs Speir On Demand

The clearest difference is monetization model: Yella Studio at free with in-app purchases against Speir On Demand's subscription. Yella Studio also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). Speir On Demand's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (72 vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yella Studio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Speir On Demand sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $28.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Yella Studio against 5.0 for Speir On Demand. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speir On Demand has 72 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
