# Ultimate Focus vs TimerBar

The clearest difference is rating: TimerBar at 5.0 against Ultimate Focus's 4.6. Ultimate Focus's advantage is ratings volume (183 vs 1) and device support (6 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ultimate Focus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and TimerBar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimerBar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ultimate Focus has 183 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ultimate Focus ships an update every 3 weeks, TimerBar fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
