# Aim vs Note & Widget

The clearest difference is rating: Aim at 4.8 against Note & Widget's 3.7. Aim also leads on ratings volume (22 vs 3) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). Note & Widget's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (67% vs 50%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Note & Widget asks for nothing beyond the download.

Aim holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aim has 22 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Aim's written reviews are positive against 67% of Note & Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aim ships an update every 11 days, Note & Widget every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
