# Aim vs CalNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: CalNote at every 3 days against Aim's every 11 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CalNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aim ships an update every 11 days, CalNote every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
