# AI Writer vs Copy AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Copy AI at 100% against AI Writer's 62%. Copy AI also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). AI Writer's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 44) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Writer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Copy AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Writer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Writer has 1.1K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of AI Writer's written reviews are positive against 100% of Copy AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
