# AI Chat vs SnapTip

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SnapTip at 100% against AI Chat's 39%. SnapTip also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). AI Chat's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Chat sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. SnapTip asks for nothing beyond the download.

SnapTip holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Chat has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of AI Chat's written reviews are positive against 100% of SnapTip's.

AI Chat ships an update fortnightly, SnapTip every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
