# Focus Capsule vs Tomaru

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Capsule at weekly against Tomaru's every 7 months. Focus Capsule also leads on device support (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.5). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Capsule sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year and Tomaru sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Capsule ships an update weekly, Tomaru every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
