# Wedding Planner vs Ring Leader

The clearest difference is rating: Wedding Planner at 5.0 against Ring Leader's 4.7. Ring Leader's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wedding Planner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Ring Leader sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wedding Planner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ring Leader has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wedding Planner ships an update weekly, Ring Leader every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
