# PicSolve vs School Hack

The clearest difference is rating: PicSolve at 4.5 against School Hack's 4.1. PicSolve also leads on ratings volume (7.5K vs 210). School Hack's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 39%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicSolve sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and School Hack sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PicSolve holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PicSolve has 7.5K ratings behind it against 210, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of PicSolve's written reviews are positive against 61% of School Hack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PicSolve ships an update every 9 days, School Hack every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
