# PicSolve vs AI Answers

The clearest difference is ads: PicSolve at none against AI Answers's shown. PicSolve also leads on ratings volume (7.5K vs 177) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicSolve sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and AI Answers sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for PicSolve against 4.5 for AI Answers. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PicSolve has 7.5K ratings behind it against 177, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 39% of PicSolve's written reviews are positive against 29% of AI Answers's.

PicSolve ships an update every 9 days, AI Answers every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
