# PicSolve vs Solve

The clearest difference is rating: Solve at 5.0 against PicSolve's 4.5. PicSolve's advantage is ratings volume (7.5K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicSolve sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Solve sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solve holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PicSolve has 7.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PicSolve ships an update every 9 days, Solve every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
