# Bandit vs Faxo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bandit at none against Faxo's 21. Bandit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Faxo's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (2K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Faxo sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Bandit asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bandit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Faxo has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bandit ships an update monthly, Faxo every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
