# BlockGuardian vs Secrefier

The clearest difference is ads: BlockGuardian at none against Secrefier's shown. Secrefier's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlockGuardian sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Secrefier sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BlockGuardian ships an update every 6 months, Secrefier every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
