# Migaku vs FlashCards

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FlashCards at 100% against Migaku's 73%. FlashCards also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.4). Migaku's advantage is ratings volume (378 vs 8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Migaku sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $14.00 per month and FlashCards sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlashCards holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Migaku has 378 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of Migaku's written reviews are positive against 100% of FlashCards's.

Migaku ships an update weekly, FlashCards fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
