# 默信 vs Coin Chat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Coin Chat at 65% against 默信's 17%. Coin Chat also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and device support (4 vs 2). 默信's advantage is rating (2.4 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 默信 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Coin Chat sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

默信 holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 默信 has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of 默信's written reviews are positive against 65% of Coin Chat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

默信 ships an update fortnightly, Coin Chat every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
