# 默信 vs 电报

The clearest difference is rating: 电报 at 5.0 against 默信's 2.4. 电报 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). 默信's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 默信 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. 电报 asks for nothing beyond the download.

电报 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 默信 has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

默信 ships an update fortnightly, 电报 every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
