# Voice Notes vs DueView

The clearest difference is rating: DueView at 5.0 against Voice Notes's 4.3. DueView also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). Voice Notes's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voice Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DueView sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DueView holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voice Notes has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Voice Notes ships an update every 4 months, DueView every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
