# Seamless vs Wave Connect

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Seamless at none against Wave Connect's 4. Seamless also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Wave Connect's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 5) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wave Connect sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Seamless asks for nothing beyond the download.

Seamless holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wave Connect has 1.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
