# S vs The Chippy Calc

The clearest difference is rating: S at 5.0 against The Chippy Calc's 4.5. S also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). The Chippy Calc's advantage is device support. On price and review sentiment there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Chippy Calc sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. S asks for nothing beyond the download.

S holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: S has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
