# Performance Golf AI Swing Fix vs Golf Journal

The clearest difference is ads: Golf Journal at none against Performance Golf AI Swing Fix's shown. Performance Golf AI Swing Fix's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 12) and chart position (#146 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Performance Golf AI Swing Fix sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per month and Golf Journal sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Performance Golf AI Swing Fix against 4.8 for Golf Journal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Performance Golf AI Swing Fix has 5K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Performance Golf AI Swing Fix ships an update fortnightly, Golf Journal weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
