# Rattlegram vs Flaresat

The clearest difference is rating: Rattlegram at 4.5 against Flaresat's 3.5. Rattlegram also leads on ratings volume (23 vs 4). Flaresat's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 9 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rattlegram holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rattlegram has 23 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Rattlegram's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flaresat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rattlegram ships an update every 9 months, Flaresat every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
