# Alumni Universe vs SeenLog

The clearest difference is rating: Alumni Universe at 5.0 against SeenLog's 4.4. SeenLog's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alumni Universe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SeenLog sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alumni Universe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SeenLog has 5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Alumni Universe ships an update every 2 months, SeenLog every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
