# Jotter vs Wellread

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jotter at every 5 weeks against Wellread's every 7 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jotter sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Wellread sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jotter ships an update every 5 weeks, Wellread every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 3, 2026.
