# Metro Connect vs SlimeMerge

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SlimeMerge at 100% against Metro Connect's 17%. SlimeMerge also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). Metro Connect's advantage is ratings volume (235 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.5 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metro Connect sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and SlimeMerge sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SlimeMerge holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Metro Connect has 235 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of Metro Connect's written reviews are positive against 100% of SlimeMerge's.

Metro Connect ships an update every 3 months, SlimeMerge weekly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
