# Hype vs AI Video Generator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hype at 75% against AI Video Generator's 25%. Hype also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17). AI Video Generator's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Video Generator sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Hype asks for nothing beyond the download.

AI Video Generator holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Video Generator has 430 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Hype's written reviews are positive against 25% of AI Video Generator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hype ships an update every 4 weeks, AI Video Generator every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
