# PastureMap+ vs Vence

The clearest difference is rating: Vence at 5.0 against PastureMap+'s 2.8. Vence also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). PastureMap+'s advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (19 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vence holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PastureMap+ has 19 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PastureMap+ ships an update every 10 days, Vence every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
