# Habit Tracker vs Secnd

The clearest difference is price: Secnd at Free against Habit Tracker's $1.99. Secnd also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). Habit Tracker's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Secnd is free to download; Habit Tracker costs $1.99 up front. Habit Tracker sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Secnd sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Habit Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secnd has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Habit Tracker ships an update every 3 months, Secnd every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
