# InkPlanner vs UCNotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: UCNotes at every 3 days against InkPlanner's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InkPlanner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and UCNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InkPlanner ships an update every 4 months, UCNotes every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
