# uCertifyPrep Google Cloud vs GCP Knowledge Test

The clearest difference is update cadence: GCP Knowledge Test at every 5 weeks against uCertifyPrep Google Cloud's every 9 months. uCertifyPrep Google Cloud's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. uCertifyPrep Google Cloud sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GCP Knowledge Test sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

uCertifyPrep Google Cloud ships an update every 9 months, GCP Knowledge Test every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
