# StackLock vs WeeVPN

The clearest difference is rating: WeeVPN at 5.0 against StackLock's 4.5. StackLock's advantage is ratings volume (74 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StackLock sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month and WeeVPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WeeVPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StackLock has 74 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

StackLock ships an update every 2 days, WeeVPN every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
