# AI Chat 6.0 vs scanner app pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: scanner app pro at 100% against AI Chat 6.0's 72%. AI Chat 6.0's advantage is ratings volume (54K vs 19) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Chat 6.0 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and scanner app pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Chat 6.0 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Chat 6.0 has 54K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of AI Chat 6.0's written reviews are positive against 100% of scanner app pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
