# Minipaper vs LiveFrame Maker

The clearest difference is rating: LiveFrame Maker at 5.0 against Minipaper's 4.5. LiveFrame Maker also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). Minipaper's advantage is ratings volume (76 vs 1) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Minipaper sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and LiveFrame Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LiveFrame Maker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minipaper has 76 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Minipaper ships an update every 10 days, LiveFrame Maker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
