# 千阅 vs Addons

The clearest difference is rating: Addons at 4.6 against 千阅's 3.3. Addons also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (350 vs 18). 千阅's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 千阅 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Addons sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Addons holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Addons has 350 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of 千阅's written reviews are positive against 60% of Addons's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

千阅 ships an update every 2 weeks, Addons every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
