# Scan Now vs Lens Scanner

The clearest difference is rating: Scan Now at 4.8 against Lens Scanner's 1.0. Scan Now also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 1) and chart position (#48 vs unranked). Lens Scanner's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scan Now sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.95 per 7 days and Lens Scanner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
