# Tailgating Central vs Callie

The clearest difference is ads: Tailgating Central at none against Callie's shown. Tailgating Central also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Callie's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Tailgating Central against 4.9 for Callie. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Callie has 1.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tailgating Central ships an update every 7 months, Callie weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
